Love Letter #9

*|MC:SUBJECT|*
Hi friends,
We're now over 100 people in team love (aka newsletter subscribers), thanks to everyone who've been with us for a while and welcome to everyone who recently joined us on this journey! This week we'll be talking about one of our favourite subjects: Prototyping. More specifically, how we within internally use prototyping to look ahead, gather ideas and evolve them throughout time. Also, we have some great news regarding the anti-racism workshop we'll be hosting. And of course, some great reads for the upcoming weekend. Enjoy!
01 Building An Anti-Racist Workplace
Together with CinemAfrica we are hosting an online workshop on Building An Anti-Racist Workplace focussing on the Swedish tech industry. Some pretty amazing people and organisations are joining us and we still got some open spots! So, if you or someone you know works within tech and wants to participate, let us know

When?
October 16th
9.00 - 12.00
02 Prototyping Another Tomorrow's Tomorrow
While we help other organisations to prototype their futures, we also love prototyping our own. Two weeks ago, under the direction of founder Joe Coppard, the whole team (apart from Carina who's living in Singapore) met up at the office for the first time since the start of the pandemic. The reason? A collaborative session. The focus? How to improve our brand and generate more leads which eventually would turn into new clients.
The outcome
A brand video
A platform to find synergies between colleagues and find the right team for each challenge
A tool for re-using knowledge through re-packaging it, catered to a different purpose
What is prototyping?
According to Creative Technologist André (the guy on the left): Prototyping is the shi*t.
And why? To us, prototyping is a mindset, toolkit and approach to navigate uncertainty: an effective way of quickly gauging if an idea is feasible and allowing user feedback at a very early stage.

Want to build a prototype? E-mail André!

03 A selection of reads - handpicked by our team
> "Idag lever vi i en mycket osäker värld. Ledningsgrupper och team-chefer på företag och organisationer kan med fördel använda spekulativ design för att förstå, förutse och skapa en ljus framtid för sina varumärken och sina team" — Joe Coppard pratar om Spekulativ Design i Dagens Opinion. Läs här.

> "A new normal, this too shall pass." By Seth Godin. Read here.

> “If we remain unwilling to do serious individual, institutional, and structural work as a people, our path toward a truly equitable future will stagnate." — Racism and inequity are products of design. They can be redesigned. Find out how.

Until next time, stay safe and stay curious!
/ Team Another Tomorrow

Another Tomorrow is a futures agency that helps organisations thrive in an uncertain world. We create a better future by systemising the exploration of the unknown. We bring perspectives together, facilitate change, and prototype what lies ahead.
