Tomorrow Club #1: Change

It happened, Tomorrow Club is alive! On January 30th we kicked off the newly launched event series on the topic of ‘Change’ together with an amazing panel consisting of Jenny Boman, VP IT, Head of Value Streams at PostNord, Songul Can, Head of Buying and Production at Mini Rodini, and Nino Höglund, Chief Design Officer at iZettle. Being able to host a collective of inspiring change-makers in our own space was a real honour. Everyone’s presence, insights and energy made it both fun and rewarding.

We got a lot done in just 60 minutes. The insights that stood out for us during the panel were the following:

We are engaged in multiple change curves simultaneously.
Challenges are best dealt with by teams sharing a mindset and a safe space.
Keep an open mind and stay humble if you want to make progress.
True collaboration requires you to find common ground and a constructive narrative with your team so that everyone can relate.

But what stood out the most was how much energy, empathy and curiosity all the participants brought — leaning in, sharing experiences and eating the pizza 🍕

Perspective Sharing
The framework for the evening was of course the Change Curve: based on the original Kübler-Ross theory and modified specially for Tomorrow Club. Here's an annotated version with the collective perspectives on what's needed to move to the next stage within a change process (This is free to use for change-related needs, and if you have further reflections, feel free to reach out to us.)
